Well it's been quite the busy summer, busy enuff to keep us out of the blog for another month.
We got home from a jam and had a couple of messages. The first was that Ian (Susie's nephew) has a court date on Thursday (a long story that we might get into someday). The second was from Bill in Denver telling us that Val's son Doug was going to Kansas to be with Val. They don't believe that he'll be with us much longer. Doug posted the info on Val's blog as well. A saddening end to the weekend. Our thoughts and prayers are with Val and his family.
Meantime, Susie has been accepted in the Alternative Teacher Licensure Program at CCU here in GJ. We went to Steamboat Springs (where it was in the 90's). Robert has been tied up overhauling transmitters. But we did get a little pickin' in on Thursday evening and Sunday afternoon.
Robert now has his 'new' desktop computer up and running using the linux package (Linspire) that he got at the NAB, which should help out with some of the internet stuff. We're also finalizing plans to get a DSL connection.
